Basco Brunswick

So the ladies’ bathroom is definately coveted in pictures of Ryan Gosling, used to be Curly Joe’s pizza parlor, then it was a café with a name involving a duck or something and there’s still parts of a coffee machine making up the door handles, some pretty cool art on the wall, not so fussed about the couches though, that looks like a good price for espresso martinis, pintxos are a superior bar snack although these ones taste like they’re made by the café next to your work, quality chalkboard menu, beer list is thunder road centric (they got to you!),  music is far too Cafe del Mar ca. 2008, the shop front windows always made this space feel a bit like a shop a bit soulless, it’s not Bilbao and it’s not Brunswick, a lot of staff, almost gate crashed a function trying to find the bathroom, some girl just came in to pick up a giant canolli filled with canolli, churros look like wangs, I’ve been to Spain they don’t put the pintxos away at 10pm, it’s fine.
