Friendly staff, quiet, are we meant to sign in, is smaller than I thought or is it 2 levels, both kinds of beer VB AND Carlton, fantastic carpet, TAB pokies and pool, yes this is the place from Underbelly but can’t find any bullet holes, Pay TV, my friend told me there’d be sandwiches, opens early, not many bars on Sydney Rd have sliding doors (it’s so you don’t drop your winnings on the way out), the decor isn’t terrible, major airport lounge vibes, we might be the youngest ones in here, fun fact an Australian snooker champion trains here, remember the night that we were walking past and Bad Laura yells “Oi, mole!” from the balcony so we came in and had a drink with her, can often see people napping when looking in the window, some great members prices on crappy booze, put $1 in a pokie machine played $1.05 worth that’s a win right.
