Dane Certificate’s Magic Tricks, Gags & Theatre

Definitely a theatre with a bar, great signage on the outside, proper magic theatre creepy on the inside, clock is stopped, some of the paintings are hung sideways kinda cool, tried to help the bartender get the ipod working (couldn’t help unfortunately), 5 choc top flavours available at the bar (!), scariest thing is the lack of lock on the toilet door, toilet doubles as access to band gear storage room, nice looking piano over there if you fancy playing us a tune, first punters here opened promptly we dashed in the door, bandroom/theatre seats about 30, small but varied bar fridge, remember that time we went to the rebooted Vahalla Cinema it’s a bit like that, bartender is doing a uni project on the violation of expectations and is using first dates to explore that idea, we were knee deep in ideas and then a bloke came to buy tickets, had a yarn with Ina, there have been a few places where we’ve been the only punters but that’s our first proper chat, a bit magic.
